Doubles Poem

Here is a cute little poem for helping your little homeschoolers to memorize their double addition facts:

Doubles Poem:

1 + 1 = 2….….yahoo

2 + 2 = 4….….there’s plenty more

3 + 3 = 6….….two yardsticks

4 + 4 = 8….….you’re doing great

5 + 5 = 10……let’s do it again

6 + 6 = 12…....you’re doing swell

7 + 7 = 14…....don’t need sunscreen

8 + 8 = 16…....we’re a math machine

9 + 9 = 18……we’re going green

10 + 10 = 20…that’s plenty
